What I actually take, eat and use

I'm a cancer survivor who had to learn how to feed and move a body that had been through a lot. This is the stuff I reorder on repeat, not the stuff I tried once for a story.

I'm not a doctor and this isn't medical advice. These are my own choices, made with my medical team. Please make yours with yours.

What I take every day

I keep this list short on purpose. Everything here earned its place by doing one specific job: creatine for strength I lost, magnesium and theanine for sleep that actually restores, omega-3 and B vitamins because my bloodwork asked for them. If something isn't pulling its weight, it goes.

Protein I keep stocked

Protein is the non-negotiable. I've ordered the salmon and the egg whites thirteen times each, which tells you everything. The bars and cups are for the days I'm running between things and would otherwise skip a meal, and I've learned the hard way that skipping is not strength.

Low-cal swaps that don't feel like punishment

I have a history with food that I don't take lightly, so the rule here is simple: nothing that makes eating feel like a chore. These are the sauces, noodles and rice I reach for because they taste good first and happen to be light second. That order matters.

In my cup

Almond milk by the carton because I go through it, and rooibos because it's the one thing I can drink at 10pm without paying for it at 2am.

Meal prep kit

Three things that make cooking for one less of a production. The small air fryer lives on my counter and gets used more than my oven.

Training at home

I rebuilt my strength in my living room before I rebuilt it anywhere else. The shorts are the ones I've bought three times because they stay put. The bench and stepper are what made a home gym real instead of a good intention.

Behind the camera

For the people who ask how I film. This is the whole kit. Nothing fancy, everything portable, because most of what I make gets made in the gaps of a normal day.
